During CycloBia, about 2 miles of streets in downtown Brownsville, Texas, will be closed to cars and trucks so residents (and, increasingly, visitors) can gather to bike, walk, jog, dance, socialize and simply have fun.

CycloBia Brownsville is organized by the City's Multimodal Transportation Department in collaboration with local businesses, service agencies and nonprofits. The Police and Traffic Departments assist with road closures and security, and more than 50 volunteers help before and during the event.

Make sure to come out to this FREE event! Bring your bike to save time from renting one ahead of time. No bike? No problem! We offer bike rentals, however you will need a valid driver's license and credit card. For any other question or concerns please call us at 956-546- HELP.

GET INVOLVED WITH CYCLOBIA BROWNSVILLE
CycloBia will need many volunteers to be successful. If you are interested in volunteering, please contact Eva Garcia with the City of Brownsville Multimodal Transportation Department.
You can reach him either by phone at 956-541-4881 or via e-mail at eva.garcia@brownsvilletx.gov. Volunteers can choose to help the day of the event only or the weeks before the event by helping with promoting the event.
